ZARA PLEATED BLOUSE + MY LIFE HISTORY

almost feels bittersweet sharing one of my last looks/shoot from Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara is I place I want to go back and visit soon. I was captivated by the beach and surrounding mountains. Santa Barbara is BEAUTIFUL.

I brought this Zara pleated blouse with me and wore to the work conference I was at while in Santa Barbara. I love anything from Zara, but this top… it’s all the feels! I only wish I didn’t have to keep tugging on it for my bra not to show (it’s a bit low cut), but the pleated sleeves and hem got me. It also comes in black and burgundy (totally grabbing the burgundy one for the holidays)!
I paired this Zara pleated blouse with leggings, and although the pants I am wearing are leggings, they don’t look like leggings! You can get away with wearing leggings like this to the office with a pleated blouse like this and nobody will ever know!

WHERE I WAS BORN

I was born in Brasil, Joinville Santa Catarina to be exact. An exciting and slightly crazy story, my mom flew 8+ months while pregnant with me, TO BRASIL… 2 weeks later she had me. I still think she’s crazy for doing that.

WHERE I GREW UP

When I was four, we moved to the US. I lived in New York for a short time and then moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut. We lived in CT for eight years. My sister and her family are actually in Stamford, CT where they moved to start a church. So if you’re in CT make sure to check out Connect Community. You’ll love them, promise!

MOMMY AND ME DAY DATE IDEAS 10/05/2015

I cannot believe my little Jadyn will be three in just a few months. My little blue-eyed baby is not a baby anymore! The weather here in Houston has been AMAZING the last few days and with lots of cooler weather ahead it’s the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the weather. Jadyn loves being outside and as the boys get older and life gets busier it’s important to me to spend time with them. Here are my top 5 mommy and me day dates (because night dates are for mommy and daddy) Go Apple Picking or visit a Pumpkin Patch. Enjoy the sun, the breeze, and exploring. Most farms also have hay rides, don’t forget to go on the hayride Play a game of flag football. Get the whole family in on this and the team who loses has to do the house chores for a week Enjoy the outdoors and the turning of the leaves by having a picnic.
